In some cases YES. If it is done for the persons higher and greater good.

Expample I can give is with me mate having walked wiht him down a path of addictions and recovery I know well that play on emotions one has on ye. I did use emotional blackmail in the end run with him.

He was gone three days and nights, I filed NO missing persons report as he was not really missing more on a binge. I had me bags packed and I had my route out planned I just had to make a phone call for a ride. I was about to do that when the phone rang. He called me from Jail, I so remember what he said " will you be there when I get to come home or are you done ?"

I was firm and final I was DONE on DONE unless he got professional help. I did not buy into the I LOVe ye crap this time, or I will do better. I played the emotions back, with full on condtions I had this time. It was a play on his emotions as that is not honestly what I wanted or felt. It was what I NEEDED to maybe do.
