    Aloe Vera

Every home should have one! A living plant, pieces can be cut off and applied directly to burns and stings and insect bites.

Owwwwwwwwwww I need something! I had my boots on today and now I have no skin left on my heel! Just cleaned it with salt water (which didn't sting oddly enough) and plopped a plaster on it. Trouble is now, when I try taking the plaster off it's going to be stuck to the wound because it's seeping and it hurts :mecry: . The other foot is fine but I have a dodgy heel on one it's almost as if the bone has grown the wrong way

LOL the first three plasters came off on their own, I need to find something to put on it, some type of antiseptic or something, can't have germolene last time I put that on a cut it made it worse

It's a shame you can't use germolene as that takes a bit of the pain away too, i'd keep up with the salt water for now at least it will keep it clean til you get some antiseptic, make it up with boiled water but make sure you allow it to cool before you use it, i'd keep some in the fridge over night as that will ease it if it's still inflamed tomorrow

Where can I get an Aloe plant from? Can you get them at the local garden centre? I might try Mr. Man down the road he might have one lurking somewhere plus he knows his stuff.

I'd phone around the garden centres in your area (will save time) I plan to do that as I want a white sage plant but it would take forever wandering round them all
