Creating or choosing a Pendulum

There's no need to go out and buy a pendulum, you can quite easily make your own. I think most of us have heard of women in days gone by using rings fastened to a string and using them for things such as discovering the sex of an unborn baby. You can make your own pendulum in a similar way. Using a chain or a string or even one of those strips of leather, you could use embroidery threads and plait them fastening something personal to the end, this could be a ring or a favourite pendant or a crystal, the combinations are endless and will make your pendulum very personal to you.
Alternatively you may choose to go out and by one, as with most psychic tools you will usually find that you feel a 'pull' or are drawn to a particular one, usually that is the one for you.

My pendulum is nothing more than a crystal from a lamp with a chain attached. The material you use is not important, but the energy you cleanse and fill it with is.

Very true, I think things are always better when they have the personal touch and are charged with your own energies
