Be careful what you wish for. Climatologists have predicted that, as global warming becomes more severe, the gulf stream will continue to slow, reducing the amount of warm water flowing from the equatortoward the British Isles, reducing temperatures drastically....possibly to the point of turning it into another Iceland.
