How much can I rely on my pendulum?

Hey, kind of new to this whole thing, I started to use a pendulum but want to write off the answers it gives me as subconscious desires. What do you ask your pendulum and how reliable are the answers? Can I rely on my pendulum for questions of fate (will I get married, have kids, etc.) or is it just good for reaffirming questions that deep down I already know the answer to, or is it only good for suggesting what I want to hear? Any advice/suggestions on the topic would be appreciated.

I have been using a pendulum for years and I have come to the conclusion, whether wrong or right, that the answers you receive from it, is like a reading, at the time of asking it is correct, but any change in thought or circumstance, can change the outcome of the answer.

I am looking forward to any other replies.

Hello, They are not used for "fate" questions like am i going to get married?...Well no one knows that, The answers the pendulum gives you are answers you all ready know it just tells you things that you concious mind get 'get to' kind of thing xx So you could you this to begin with.... 'Is my Name ----' and if it says yes if you did say your right name well its right.. as that answer is already out in the universe xx so then you can move onto more things like food and drink.. so hold your pendulum over your drink or food and say 'is this Food/beverage healthy for me' so if its soda it will most prob say no but if its water it would say yes so they are really easy things to use.. but if you ask it am I going to die..and it says 'yes' Don't panic as everyone is going to die so be more spesific with your questions ...x

hi auras123 i found that interesting what you said about fate questions -when i learnt using the pendulum i heard of no restriction about asking fate questions.. basically you can ask whatever you like and there are 3 or 4 different ways to receive answers and very clear ones about really anything you wish for. actually with pendulum you can get very clear time/date questions, including the question when will i get married...month, year, day. but as with all fortune telling questions- the answer can change when the person is changing something within him or herself.

personally i don't like the pendulum very much as an answering tool..but it is a great tool when working with energy and finding energy blocks or stuff like that. but as for myself, i found out that i can influence the movement of the pendulum, so i only use it now during healing sessions when i give them.

Hi shayn, I always got taught that if you ask a fate question it would give any random answer that why its notgood to do it but I don't know. Lol x

basically i don't like fate questions as i believe the future is open and we can create the life we are wishing, so what is the point in asking what will be? imo it is better to ask:" what can i do in order too.".. and pendulum can't answer such questions.

Hi guys, funny thing I was guided to use a necklace, amethyst necklace the bit that connected the necklace kept coming off lost etc, so I thought why, and connected the bit to the crystal and realised it could be used as a pendulum. I tried it and had crazy results in way of actuall movement.

Id like to ask to they work with our higher selves or spirts guides etc?

I tried asking whats yes and no, it went in circles for yes and back forth for no, but sometimes it spun clockwise other times anti clockwise not sure what it meant?

I asked questions, tried to get answers, ended up saying I was going to experience a spiritual thing 12 noon the next day, and I didnt, lol, so I dotn know how much to trust it.

I also tried using cards to make up angel numbers, and got same ones popping up but never definite, then realised the numbers that were there matched ones I feel I have seen but then thought being 1-10 they were bound to come up anyways.

Also I havnt a clue which articles to look for in angel numbers etc, there all different!

Btw how do we locate energy blockages?

there are 3 basic answers: yes, no, and maybe- or no answer.. so you establish the yes and no which is good and the other movement that wasn't clear for you is probably the maybe part.

Well Same as you Shayn I only really use mine to find energy blockages and things like that..But on a few occasions I do use it in my Mediumship work for finding spirit energy they are a very useful tool to have :')

HI Aura, we seem to agree
for myself i prefer other tools for asking questions, but pendulum is useful for energy work and also as you said about finding which food is good for you and which not. but i know people who use the pendulum for asking all sorts of questions, decision making and so on, and this is how my teacher thought me to use the pendulum.. it is cool and can be fun.

Really Thats All I used it for but as you said it can be fun and useful tool but you have to learn how to use them first as they aint a toy as they are also chanellers so it doesnt just clean away bad energies if you don't know how to use it they can also bring bad energies in ! x

I just recently got one again. I had one as a teen but I was not on the purest of paths then so I steared from them. I was called to get a Bloodstone one on gold chain. It feels amazing and is amazingly powerful.

It too is but another "tool" that I have I see no pure thing we can use as the key to the doors we want opened, more they might give us some ideas on different paths to explore. I have asked mine on a vission I have had but too I know that the event will unfold if its meant to I can not change that.

Good question on who, for me I dont know if I could for sure say. Many times I know well it is my Guide but at other times what comes is so not in the realms of what I would know so its an outside source I would say. Maybe the best truth would be "all" I have never looked at it from that view point but if we are all "one" that would fit the best would it not?

Being new with one again I have not had any issues on the control of it more its getting it not to swing so agressivly at times when its near the computer screen.

How can one protect for me that is with a crystal lol in tme bra....where I go it goes

Seriously though protections are important I feel for me I use a "Bubble" that I simply invision being around me then if I feel I need more protections I simply add more bubbles.

With any tools that we use cleansings are important. For me I do nothing more than asking for White Light around them when I use them and that I am truly working from that place of the higest and greatest good . For the Bloodstone I will be leaving it in the Full Moon Light.

My Daughter just had it trying it out she asked something a bit unsettling " Will Mom ever leave my Dad" and got a strong "yes" so I asked it the same question and I got a strong "yes" then asking something that was truly 'no' it was accurate. HMMMM.

Yes when doing any work that is with another person. It too is important I feel to cleanse yourself too before you work with another. We are good at doing that with our tools but so many times I do not see a healer do that. I stop and do a blessing over me and I openly ask that what I did is from the highest place of good for whom I am with. One's note that and say it makes them feel really at ease to "hear" me whisper that.
