Past life as a cat .......

is it possible to have been a cat in a past life ?

I have had glimpses of life in Egypt as seen thru a cat's eyes and life in Salem

or could these cats be animal totems for me ?

Cats were worshiped by Egyptians which you already know im sure. I read once about the connections between the cat and Egytptians and will try to locate it

Frisky Fox, this sound to me that you have an animal totem which is a cat but I strongly doubt that you were a Cat in a previous life. I feel that you were someone who was a worshipper of the Goddess Bast, and there was a real importance and practibilty where cats were concerned. They were needed in farms etc to protect the crops etc from vermin.
I happen to be the proud owner of two cats myself, and they are half in the astral and half in the reality. Interesting thread.

Never thought before of reincarnating as a cat.  Sounds reasonable though.

How many times have we described some girl though as having 'cat's eyes'.

Look at the Chinese and Japanese.    A feline country....

I'm a big fan of cats, would loved to have been a cat in another life!  I've heard so many different theories about past-lives, some say you stay within your species, others believe that your soul "fragments" into several different people, some believe you work your way up thru the animal kingdom and graduate to human form.  I believe that animals have a soul, so it only makes sense that we may have once been an animal.  Interesting topic!

Lakshmi, and here I thought for sure I was a cat
still not conviced I wasn't but I am sure I wasn't one that was protecting farms and crops from vermin, I had a higher calling  
animal totem is a strong possibility though
