humming birds

When I would fall asleep at my computer terminal, I would usually dream of the room that I was in with a humming bird hovering above my head.  I wonder what that meant.  Some people say that humming birds are satanic, but I cannot see how they are.

First thing that comes to my mind is that the hummingbird represented a part of your brain that was still awake and "flittering" around. Or perhaps it's how your brain interpreted an overhead light? Something flickering at the side of your consciousness. Sleep at a computer terminal is more dozing than sleeping, know what I mean?

I don't think hummingbirds are satanic.

Perhaps you were incorporating the electronic buzz from the computer terminal into your dream. I have never before heard that hummingbirds symbolize Satanism.  Dream symbols are often unique to each person.  What do you feel the dreams are saying to you?
