Re: Haunted House?
Hi Joanie i've lived in several, some of them really frightened me when I was younger, even today I don't like being in certain areas of some houses because I can sense something unpleasant residing there.
In one house I got used to a 'ghost' and used to find it quite comforting to see it wandering about

Re: Haunted House?
We had an old man in a bungalow we lived in years ago. Looking for his wife who had passed over just a year ago not long before we moved in.
Used to hear noises coming from the loft which had been made over into a workplace by the old guy.
Always knocking noises there as though he was still working.
One night just after retiring to bed,the ladder that came down from loft fell with God almighty crash!
Ken told me to stay in bed and climbed up to the loft.
I heard him talking to someone and asked who he was talking to.
He said 'The old bloke still works up there......but he is also looking for his wife'.
Doesn't know where his wife is....
Apparently Ken sent him on his way into spirit.....
We never heard another noise after that.

Re: Haunted House?
I was in a haunted house when I was 5. My family was scared, but then their was me, I knew it was watchimg us, but the rest of the family tried to gorget about it... It was one of them ghosts that play tricks on us. I look back on that day. "I was young when I experienced that"
Do you know when you was younger, was you scared to sleep in a room on your own in the dark? Or was it just me

Without knowing it at first. Our middle daughter was around 9 or 10. In their room one night, She seen the old man that use to live there staring right in her face (she slept in the top bunk)
Dont know what to make of this place. I somewhat think the property is haunted.

Re: Haunted House?
I live in a bungalow on sheltered housing and my neighbour next door died a good while ago. Lovely man but kept to himself.
When he was alive I often used to hear him up in the night, flushing the loo or turning taps on.
Up to about three days after he died,I heard the taps running and loo flushing.
I knew the bungalow was empty so used to say quietly....'It's ok,John,I know you are there'.
A new neighbour moved in about a year ago. She asked if there had been any activity in the bungalow,I hesitated and asked her if it bothered her.
Luckily she said 'No'. So I told her about John.....she wasn't bothered....
Said various ornaments had been moved around in the lounge.
The activity has ceased now.....bless his heart,he must have moved on..
