Spirit in Physical Mediumship.

Let's look at the other side of it.

We read about spirit forms coming to us through a physical medium.

We read about the reactions of those on this side of the physical world.   We are filled with love to see those who have gone before us.
Amazed that they still live on in another world.    

I have often wondered how spirit feel themselves.    To be seen as they were when alive even though clothed in ectoplasm.
What are their feelings?     Even though they can see us through the veil,to know that we can see and acknowledge them as they were before physical death.

Or are they so used to appearing like this,does it not bring any feelings to them.    Or do feelings,physical feelings of love have gone from them?

We should always remember that we are spiritual beings NOW temporarily living in a physical body.

Once we have finally discarded the physical body we are still the same spiritually and emotionally with still the same feelings we had for those left behind.

While in the physical body, you lose the "soul memory"

Ok,I understand.     I'm going deeper than that.  I am thinking of memories.    The spiritual being will naturally remember their last family and their last life.    I am accepting that the spiritual being is the soul.    Correct or not?    So does the spiritual being remember their families or loved ones from other lives?

I get what you mean,Mr.Whitmore.     Memories of past lives?

Yes,I think we do.    Why so many hire the services of a hypnotist.
To discover what those past lives held for us.   Sometimes a past life can be responsible for fears in a present life.

I think it's because we decided to come here to this *this* life. Carrying thoughts and memories over from past lives could get in the way of what we want to try with this life.

It would be like trying to combine Romeo & Juliet with A Midsummer's Night's Dream. Higgeldy-piggeldy...

Well,I was a bit like you two.   
Just couldn't take it in,but read more and more and the picture started to form.
...and I'm still learning.     Physical mediumship starts at the beginning of forming ectoplasm and takes off from there......A very interesting subject.

I understand it just fine Joanie   I am simply uninterested. I am more interested in how my own mediumship improves (or doesn't), not keen on ectoplasm or table tipping or such things.

That's fair enough,Kaere.    Keep going with the mediumship,we need more mediums in the world today.     Good mediums are hard to find....

Whether physical or mental mediumship it's evidence of survival that's important.

To hear the evidence is good but to see the evidence is better.

In my opinion...its not the medium who is the "medium".............but rather the "client" who is the medium.

The client has no clue that he/she has spirits hanging around them....nor would they know how to communicate with them.

in my opinion there is no need for mediums.........

All you need in communicating with Spirits is first understanding "imagination"..............then the doors open

and in imagination I don't mean "making things up"

A good medium though doesn't pick up from the client.   
And it's not giving messages with PM.

It is allowing the spirit coming through to be seen as they were on the earth plane.
To prove it is them. You know the rest of how it is done.    
I'm not the greatest 'explainer' of how something works.
But it would be the final proof to me that there is a spirit world.

The medium is more like an "operator".......like a phone company operator.

You didn't give offence,Kaere....I quite understand how you feel.
We all have our beliefs....and one of mine is witnessing a Physical Mediumship demonstration.....

Look at it from the other side.   The side of physical communication.

Messages through a dodgy medium?    A few dreams you may be able to appear to them?    Dreams cannot be proven for communication.

But let's say you have a chance to come through to your loved ones.
Now this is where I stop.        Through lack of knowledge.     Are arrangements made between spirit and medium to allow you,to make an appearance clothed in ectoplasm so still living relations can identify you?     

A last chance,maybe?   To prove there is life after death.

How are you going to convince them?

IMO if a spirit is determined enough they will find a way, even if it means going right around the houses to do so, a girl had a reading from me once years ago, a reading for herself, that was the plan, however as it turned out I didn't get a thing correct for her, she knew none of the people who came through, I apologised, it's unfortunate but it happens sometimes. 

A short time later she contacted me again, she had been fed up about the reading and must have been talking to a relative, who asked to look at the reading, the relative was able to take everything,( i'm sure I gave the girl a reading in her own right afterwards) but it does make you wonder, did they so badly want to contact that relative but knew she wasn't interested in a reading, that they would wreck the first girls reading but know she would grumble about it to the person it was really meant for?  I know what I think:giggles:

I've had readings like that,Violet.    Family brought in as well.
But PM is really just to identify themselves.
By cloaking themselves in ectoplasm,they show how they looked in the physical body.    Instant proof!....
Imagine seeing someone who you have known and loved standing there before you.....who has passed to spirit but looking as they did in the human body which has been formed by ectoplasm.
