The Sword and the Feather. Empty The Sword and the Feather.

Post  SpiritVoices Sun Jan 19, 2014 9:58 am

Haven't had any signs from spirit for a long time but one came in with a bang this morning.

Sunday morning is my lazy morning.   I stay in bed as long as I feel like it.   Woke up gradually and lay there half in sleep and half wakefulness.  Mind drifting.
Bang!   This huge picture shot into my mind like an arrow through the air. Filled mind altogether.....

A huge feather, shining bright, perfectly heart shaped,it was so big I could see every link of the feather as it joined the 'root' shall I say?
Right through the middle of it was a shining sword, what came to mind was Excalibre.

    Any ideas,folks?

    ammm. just some long shots,
1- question, did you thought about any specific topic concerning your life at that point, so this symbol can be an answer or a message in some way?

    2. swords are connected to Air.
    3. the power of being soft?
    4. going the gentle way may be as strong and powerful as a direct attack?
    5. words can hard as deep as a sword?
    6. control the power?

don't know if i'm in  the right direction..

guess soon you will receive some more thoughts and ideas.

i'd just keep the symbol in mind and see where and how it develops.

Wonder why swords are connected to air, strange comparison,Shayn.
    But interesting....
More thoughts and ideas?  Hoping I might receive more....this is puzzling me. Don't think I've broken anyone's heart and certainly haven't had mine broken....though the message that was received, insinuates that.  Why I was concerned...

Thanks Shayn....you're always a help to me....
    Bless you... :astar:

Probably Exalabur... The Sword and the Feather. 200px-The_Boy_s_King_Arthur-74

There drew he forth the brand Excalibur,
And o’er him, drawing it, the winter moon,
Brightening the skirts of a long cloud, ran forth
And sparkled keen with frost against the hilt:
For all the haft twinkled with diamond sparks,
    Myriads of topaz-lights, and jacinth-work
    Of subtlest jewelery.

The feather is the sign of the bird dove
    called also Clarent
Clarent is a sword of peace meant for knighting
and ceremonies as opposed to battle

Birds of a feather (flocking together)
are made from the feathers of love
That is why they have been given
    the gift of flight

I like that explanation better than the one I thought of....
Sometimes the messages that spirit send are beyond comprehension.
The picture that was sent was so very clear.   I could only see the top half of the sword which was decorated.  The rest up to the hilt was plain silver....
Thanks for that, appreciate it.  Your's and Shayn's explanation are excellent.....
