If I remember right in some cases black cats are considered lucky and white cats not, it works the other way around too.

I have never took the old wives tale they were bad luck anyway....I had always wanted a black cat so I got one and I really love the little guy.

We had a lovely black cat years ago called Fudge.
He aged and grew sick,my lovely Fudge...
We decided to have him put to sleep. But he decided to come home again...
He had a lovely collar on which we had attached a bell...Everywhere he went the birds could hear him. The night he was put to sleep,we heard a little tinkle of his collar....and I said to hubby......'Fudge is back again'

Black cats are lovely I've had several over the years, they're sweter than black and white ones beter behaved than tortoiseshells less grumpy than tabbies.....

I have got a black cat and he is lovely hes all black except a little grey patch by his ear so I called him shadow he is spoilt rotten.hes a good mouser

I don't think we can control a cat like a dog. A dog can be trained to a certain level to respond to an order. A cat will huff up and walk away...
