now what do i do - part 2 cards

another what do i do question:

little one look at my cards eversince i remember, never thought there should be a problem with it. when she started talking i asked her to tell me about the cards, what she feels or think and sometimes she tells me very interesting stories, and i get to learn much both about the cards but also about her state of mind and life. this is really interesting and i feel good about doing that.
so what is the problem?? to remind you she is just about to turn 4. and as a present for her birthday she asked for her own cards... her own set of tarot cards.
husband thought it is a cool idea and come up with some nice decks.
me... not so sure it is a good idea..

any advice?

First, I will say this: follow your heart. Only you know what is best for your family...no-one else.

Having said that, I feel it is important to guide your child in such a way as to help them to grow, both physically and spiritually.

There is an old saying that you must learn to walk before you can run. One must learn the basics and the importance of those basics before moving ahead with something that they do not totally understand.

But, my friend, you already know this, don't you?

I have a deck of Unicorn Tarot cards.

But methinks an Oracle Deck is more appropiate for a littlun.

Cos what if she saw something bad from the tarot?

Maybe I have it wrong, But I always think Oracle decks are positive, have no negativity at all.

she loves the unicorn cards, i have these at home and she enjoys looking at them alot.

but i think i have a problem with her having her own deck. after all tarot cards are not a toy, and i feel uncomfortable about placing them with all her other stuff.
i really don't mind her looking at my cards- together with me, i mean, but to have something all for herself... and if i keep them and let her play with them whenever, it will be like "my cards". and she will not be happy about it..

I do actually have a pack of Diana Coopers.
I got them for the kids to use at World Angel Day.
But they preferred my ones.

What about if she made her own cards? Just some construction paper, crayons, stickers, and such?


I don't know why, but that idea just popped into my head.
