......or in other words....life after death.

    The spirit world itself.
What are you expecting when your life comes to an end?

    Physical death.
    Are you afraid of it?

Meeting up with loved ones there.
Who is your first choice you would like meet?

    Your home in spirit.
What kind of home would you like?

Your astral body without a physical body?

    Just a few questions.

Thank you spiritvoices for these thought provoking questions.

    The spirit world itself.
What are you expecting when your life comes to an end? I am expecting a divine self that is enlightened to the highest degree of self. One that will not get old, sick, feel pain, negative emotions such as sadness, all being equal and in harmony with the universe and all... that it contains. In other words PARADISE!

    Physical death.
Are you afraid of it? Not at the moment, don't know how I'll feel when its time.

Meeting up with loved ones there.
Who is your first choice you would like meet? The Creator

    Your home in spirit.
What kind of home would you like? A home of light and love.

Your astral body without a physical body? A golden illuminated warmth that will generate a harmonious sound and a delightful aroma.
Sounds silly?  I know, but thanks for asking.

    The spirit world itself.
What are you expecting when your life comes to an end?
To finally be allowed to go back where I belong

    Physical death.
    Are you afraid of it?
Physical death is but a transformation from one form to another, much like the caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly. Nothing to be afraid of.

Meeting up with loved ones there.
Who is your first choice you would like meet?
This question is difficult to answer as I visit the astral a lot a night. Maybe a better question would be...who will be the first to meet me? Will probably be my family of cats that preceded me. :giggles:
    Your home in spirit.
What kind of home would you like?
Our homes are already waiting for us, my friend. We decided this question a long time ago.....

Your astral body without a physical body?
We have the ability to assume whatever form we would be like and be most comfortable with. And, to this question, I would have to say it is impossible to answer as the opinions of the physical mind varies drastically from the astral mind.

......or in other words....life after death.

What are you expecting when your life comes to an end?

To bow out quickly, with no pain.

    Physical death.
    Are you afraid of it?

No,I am not.   From what I have read,at the point of passing, any pain recedes.

Meeting up with loved ones there.
Who is your first choice you would like meet?

    My husband and parents.

    Your home in spirit.
What kind of home would you like?

In spirit, homes are built from thought.
You can decide what kind of home you would like.
Did you know there are no windows in houses there.
    We do not need them.
There is no day or night,we sleep when we need rest.

Your astral body without a physical body?
I don't know too much about the astral body but do believe it is a replica of the human body without the flesh to clothe it.
As we move on,we become light,I believe.
As we progress,we move upwards through each plain to a higher one.
    Until we meet with God.

Come on you folks, have a go.    The first plane is sometimes called Summerland.     Very much like earth.    You don't get your wings until you climb the ladder.

On Summerland, you can still have that cup of tea or coffee.
You can eat if you want to.
Only difference is you do not need 'sleep' as we know it.
    You rest.

You do not need transport.    You 'think' where you want to be....

and no visits to the doctor.....

I get nervous about that title "Spiritualism".

I have my beliefs and I know what I know about the afterlife, but it's probably not what spiritualism says is true or can be proven.

I've read many books about past-life and between life regression work with hypnosis.  I believe much the same as you do Joan.  It's the work of Carol Bowman with young children that really convinced me.  For children to describe the spirit world in the same way that adults experiencing NDE have is simply amazing to me.  I have one question to add to your list:

Do you think you will return to earth very soon after this life?  I would prefer to spend a few decades in spirit with my loved ones.

Life after death can be proven.     By Physical Mediumship reports.
Look on the internet under Physical Mediumship.
Too long for me to explain.     But the nearest to proof of life after death.

I know it can be proven. But the things that prove it to me most probably would not be accepted as proof via Spiritualism.

I've been through enough posts by other's poo-poo'ing what I see as proof to get into it again.

In other words, I don't need Physical Mediumship as proof of an afterlife.

To be perfectly honest, not sure what to expect in the end.  I do expect to be reunited with my passed loved ones. My mother Im sure would be the first Id see.  Im not afraid, nor could image being.
Ive never thought about a home setting in the spirit world.   Guess I just assumed Id be a free spirit wandering the universe. :giggles:
I do feel like when my times approaching that all of these questions will be more clear.

I am only a novice about the spirit world.
I read books about life in spirit.    Written by an author who was a medium many years ago.
Briefly, the spirit who he brought through was named Silver Birch.
Silver Birch was asked questions about the spirit world.

The answers he gave were astounding.    So much information.

If you are interested, enter Silver Birch into the internet and you will be amazed by what you read.

    Very interesting indeed.

Life and consciousness are central to this new view of being, reality and the cosmos. Although the current scientific paradigm is based on the belief that the world has an objective observer-independent existence, real experiments suggest just the opposite. We think life is just the activity of atoms and particles, which spin around for a while and then dissipate into nothingness. But if we add life to the equation, we can explain some of the major puzzles of modern science, including the uncertainty principle, entanglement, and the fine-tuning of the laws that shape the universe.

I thought the article I posted above was ground breaking.....scientists are starting to believe...however slow they may be

    From the article:

Indeed, the experiments above suggest that objects only exist with real properties if they are observed. The results not only defy our classical intuition, but suggest that a part of the mind – the soul – is immortal and exists outside of space and time.

I would agree, it's quite amazing.

I had an article or video last year, posted it somewhere else, where scientists have managed to rig up a camera that essentially can take shots of energy around a corner by 'reading' molecules in some way. It seemed to me that such a system would be excellent for proving spirit in a different way because it's taking pictures of energy, which is what spirit is.

    It's all fascinating.

My proof comes from my own mediumship, others' mediumship, dreams, and meditations. I suppose there will always be some that will say those things don't count or they're not the right kind of proof, but it works for me.

Edit - a post disappeared somewhere. Odd.

    Excellent information you have there.
There is and has been research over the years about the validity of a spirit world existing 'somewhere'.
But unfortunately none has been found.    As far as we know.

We are still seeking that information.
