    First topic message reminder :

No,I don't mean age related.....

I mean all of those members who used to frequent this site.   Where have they gone?   Such as Gilly and 1antique?    Many more as well, seem to have disappeared.

Mostly over the years but our membership list seems to have diminished.
Please come back to Violet's site and POST......
    We miss you..... :sob:

Truth is that the hey-day of the forum is past. I have been a member of many forums, all "spiritual", checking them now is to find moribund or corpses. Even the large ones like SF is stagnant - the same questions come up over and over because new members will not read back in threads but want easy answers. Just a thought, UKPagan prospers and is still focussed on "spirituality".

I started a simple topic asking where some of the members are,who used to be members of this site!
I accept that some of them are very busy at this time of the year.
But I am talking about a few years back.    I'm talking about 2009!
When I registered with this site!
Surely we all haven't been busy for nearly 5 years....

I made some good friends with some of those members including Native Spirit here, she will vouch for that.   Also an Australian member, often wonder where she is now....

A simple topic of one question......curiosity of where some of my former site mates have disappeared to....is that question so hard to answer?

    Have a good day all.....

Time moves along, and I have only been here a short while, so to hear from some members from good old days for some of you would certainly be a treat for me.

    Hi Norseman....
     :urwelcome:

You a member there as well..?    Thought I had seen your name up there....
SF site has changed rapidly.   All it seems to be these day is 'Soulmates' and I am not sure whether I believe in that subject.. :giggles:

I blame FB for that.    So many spiritualist groups on there.
But I still prefer the old forum sites,I find them more personal and gratifying.

Good to see you post,my friend.....

I'm on SF too, and that twin flame idea could be alright but over all it is so really shallow and not really all that spiritual most of the time. Have a few friends there though, and really really really like the poetry.

There are two distinctly different meanings for the word 'spiritualism'.

Firstly there's Spiritualism with an upper-case 'S' symbolising it's the one that's a religion and philosophy.  Then there's 'spiritualism' with lower-case 's' which is anything to do with being spiritual or spirituality etc.

Which one of them do you post about?
I beg to differ.  It's not about upper or lower case S!  Spiritualism and spirituality often get confused as being one and the same but they are not!

Spiritualism is principally focused on the after life.  Here is a dictionary definition:-

spiritualism is a system of belief or religious practice based on supposed communication with the spirits of the dead, especially through mediums.

Spiritualuity - whilst it can incorporate spiritualism, throws its net much wider and incorporates many other aspects of our spiritual journey e.g. meditation, visualisations, mindfulness, compassion etc.

It's the soppy way some members write about soulmates.... :giggles:
I do believe that we have soulmates in our lives but not always romantic.
Soulmates to me are folks that we feel comfortable with,we can talk to and friendships which remain all our lives..
There are soul mates groups in spirit...

SF?  I'm down as Deepsea there.   Don't go on that often but I always enjoy the site when I do...
Will look for you next time..... :urwelcome:

Trolls are usually in disguise because otherwise you'd see them for what they are much sooner.  See my piece about them elsewhere.

If I'm a troll I didn't know it and I'm the longest-attending one here along with the most postings in response to others folk's points!  LOL!!

If you know anything about trolls - I suspect you don't but I do because I've been the victim of one particular nutter on various websites including this one - you'll know that's not the m.o. of a troll.

You guys - mac's laughing out loud!

I think the vote would go against you on this point, mac.

I think it is obvious to everyone that the comment you made is totally incorrect.

    1. You are not even on the first page by registration date. I, on the other hand, am the fourth one after Violet. I was a founding member of her first forum also.

    2. I have almost 2691 posts....and you have?????......1843...almost 1000 less than I do...and many of your posts could be listed in the troll category. Just because you make a post does not make it worthy of reading...or even desirable.

    3. Many, if not most, of the members here would place you in the troll category. When you made that post about trolls, I could not believe how closely it described you.
