Was it my power animal?

I was speaking to my girlfriend and we was having a chat, I told her to tell me something I don't know. I then put my phone down and went to meditate for a bit, and asked that if any of my guides animal totems gate keepers have any messages then pass it on, I had a feeling of a monkey and kept seeing a monkey in my minds eye, then seeing a green/like mist. 

I go back onto my phone. And next thing I see a reply with "your a monkey".

Validation or what?

I'm not sure if youre asking others if it is validation or not? I would think that it is up to you, if it feels right then roll with it.

What if your sub-concious knew about the text and pulled that energy backwards?
