Your Power Animal

Have you found or do you know what animal yours is?

I feel that my primary power animal is the crow... I do feel though that I have another, and it is the North American red fox.
Since my boyfriend and I have been living in the countryside (soon to be 6 years now), we have had three visits from foxes who happily take up residence in our barn to raise their young. The first and second time, Trixie trained her brood to develop all of the skills necessary to their survival. This year, Trixie didn't come back, but Patouche (we think that she's one of Trixie's daughters) came and raised five babies of her own. They ran and played in our front yard for months, and in early July, they left...

The priviledge of being able to closely enjoy their presence is a priceless gift to Daniel and I. I feel that they're a true gift from above, and I often wonder who keeps sending them to us... ...

I always get a Lion in guided meditation.
In my meditations it is Unicorn.
I am drawn to Magpies and wolves too.

It seems you have a few working with you mia, I always feel lion's are very strong protectors, don't you?

My totem animal came to me and still does occasionally in Dreamstate. He is the Wolf: I saw him. I was him. I am outside a log cabin kneeling down touching the ground and I look up because I know he is coming. He appears at the edge of the trees, in between two trees. He stops and looks at me. I look at him. A communication occurs but of no words.

Then I am him. I see myself kneeling on the ground. As I am him, I can feel the cool damp ground, leaves, pine needles and twigs under my paws. I can feel the strength in my body and my lungs. I smell woods, nature, smoke. I look away.

Then I am no longer the Wolf I am me again. I see the wolf still looking at me into my eyes. Just staring. There. Then he casually looks away and turns and wanders into the woods.

They change. I may not have a power animal come to think of it, because I accept that when I see an animal in close proximity, its intended as a message. I've been blessed with various birds, a wolf (bad one), and once when we lived in Texas there was an entire flock of giant yellow mayflies dancing and dying in my driveway.

I've had a thing for cats all my life you could say i'm obsessed with them..

I have been blessed to have a beautiful white tiger walking beside me ever since i began my journey ~ the seeker of personal truth... He has began poping in alot again of late.. He is of great comfort. Also butterflies, i had a giggle today as i noticed 3 out of the 4 tops i have worn flat out for the last two weeks, all carry the symbol of the butterfly..

That sounds lovely freedom, you must feel well protected with him, butterflies are pretty special to me too you must need their energy in your life right now wearing all of those tops.

Ihave allways been drawn to the wolf..I have been told i have a woldf with me and i also have seen it.I like all animals though and i adore horses and cats as well..

I've never had a power animal med. The animal that comes to me in dreams all the time is the cat. Which is funny, because I am allergic to cats. Even though I've had them in the past.

I have seen a ton of Hawks on days that I am down. However, I only see them on a major highway so they may just be normal birds for that part of the intersection.

Have you read up on cat?

I have. Cat's are actually very spiritual animals. The other animal I get in dreams, is more of a insect. That is the spider. Which probably represents my fears in this life. Since, I am deeply afraid of spiders.

Spider is a good one to have from what I can remember.

There is no good in spiders. They are vile, nasty, detestable creatures. There is also no reason for them. Grooooss.... Eeeeck.

When I started meditating at the beginning of my spiritual exploration two years ago several animals came to me - brown bear, white tiger, lynx, mountain lion, and python. Now, them's some big skeery stuff and no mistake. Then nothing new for a long long time - and then a couple of weeks ago, lion came. A big huge giant male lion.

Where's all the hamsters and guinea pigs I ask you??? At least no bugs so far - blech.

Lol! Hamsters, mind you i'm sure every animal carries a message, as for the Lion I always think that represents strength. It's strange how can you get lots of different ones in a short space of time, then nothing for ages.
