White background

Most tutorials about seeing auras require a light/white background, I have myself and others see a faint white around a certain area of the body, is this due to the background being a certain colour? As I don't have an explanations as to why white is always the first color!

You were missed - I asked about you here some weeks ago but no-one appeared to know anything.

You've been away from SI for quite a time - thought you'd left for good.

Left for a period of time I did completely forget, but I had a few questions I wanted to ask and this Site came back to me so I thought I'd hop on to see how things were going.

If a person is standing in front of a white background, it's easier to see colour in their aura. It's purely for practical reasons because colour shows up better against a plain white background.

It could be that you are seeing the white background through the shimmer of the aura rather than the colours in the aura.

I tend to see purples in auras, but I'm better at sensing auras than seeing them physically. Seeing them is something that just happens at times, rather than something I set out to do.
