Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Re: What herbs do you grow?
Ermm... nothing? Hihi.
I got a huge garden for Dutch standards, I do have lavender. Does that count?
I have 2 lavas plants the leaves of which you put in soup.
A few months back I put lavender in organza pouches to put in the wardrobes for the scent. I sent a few to my mother too :)
As for the rest... what do you consider herbs? Stuff like basil, peppermint, parsley?
I mean, I do have broom, which I think can be used in witchcraft, but I don't consider that a herb.
So apart from lavender and lavas... nothing.

Re: What herbs do you grow?
Lavender counts!
My herb garden has grown from just spearmint and lavender to thyme, lemon thyme, sage, oregano, chocolate mint, rosemary, chive lemon grass and lemon balm. Oh and we had basil, which I totally neglected and forgot about.
We made a wonderful tea with the chocolate mint, lemon grass and lemon balm.
I am hoping they all winter over, as I did not dry nearly enough...

Re: What herbs do you grow?
Ah, those herbs. Thanks for clarifying, hihi.
I don't really like herbs that much. Not into Italian herbs, so no basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary needed, and I really don't like sage. That's why I am not growing any of these although i do believe I have a rosemary. Cos I so like the flowers, and it was already here in the front yard, very small. I nurtured it to a grown specimen :)
But I don't do anything with it.

Re: What herbs do you grow?
Not sure where I would start, at one count some time age we had about 50 different herbs in our garden.
Most are used for cooking and tea, others I just enjoy having.
