after having this life i would want a more pleasant one. one of those easy lives would be nice. you know that guy/gal you know or met that everything goes right for them. almost like they are completely "blessed."

Each sex brings with it a unique set of learning experiences. The sex I would choose would depend on what it was that I desired to learn at that particular point in time.

I wonder how many who have said the same thing about not wanting to come back, but, once in spirit, have decided that they had had a good learning/teaching experience while here that had allowed much spiritual growth - and decided to come back?
The path that we laid out for us to live was not chosen for convenience, but for growth. Too many times that growth includes unhappy/difficult times. ( If you stop and think about it, how much growth would you have if things were all smooth and easy?)
