Life Path Number
To determine your life path number, convert the month you were born into a single digit (ie: the month of November is the 11th month: 1 + 1 = 2 therefore 2 will be the single digit number you will use). Then, add this single digit number to your birth day. Next, add the individual numbers of your birth year together. The individual digits of your birth year are added together as necessary to reduce the sum to a single digit of 1 through 9. Or, to the numerology "master numbers", 11 or 22. Master numbers are not reduced any further.




Example

If your birthday is April 3rd, 1957, add the month (4 since April is the 4th month) to the day (3 since you were born on the 3rd day) plus the total of the digits in the year (since you were born in 1957, 1 + 9 + 5 + 7 = 22).

The sum total (3 + 4 + 22) equals 29. Split this number in half (this gives you 2 and 9). Then add these two digits together (2 + 9 = 11). Your life path number in this example is 11.

OK....here is what I found.....

The fact that the 33 is extra-ordinary demanding and rare can be seen symbolically in the methods of calculation.
For example, a 33 Life Path can happen only when each of the 3 units of the birth date (month/year/day) add to 11. My life number is 11 and my birth number is 4, so my practicality tends to clash with my spirituality a lot but I have managed to find balance in the recent past between the two.

When I first learned about numerology in 1997, I went and researched several famous people's birth numbers (like actors, politicians, former world leaders now dead, Einstein, all kinds of people). Its very interesting to see them! My birth number is a 7. (Feb 6, 1970). Pretty good for an Aquarius :)

okay so my master number is 22. i have always known i was here for a reason, i don't know that i do understand big organizations, at least i don't understand the time wasting that happens.
i agree 11 is the number of ideals. i am the 11 th child of 11 and am born in the 11 th month so this is an important and significant number for me. i'm always seeing 11s and 22s on the clock (specially when its on 24 hr time- 21:12). ah well violet, only 4 minutes to save the world!
