I would love to grow some herbs but I don't have a garden as such as I
live in a tenement block (apartments) and only communal ground at the
back of the houses , I was wondering if you can get your thinking caps
on and give me a few ideas of what I can do in the limited space

I thought of getting a couple of planters but all the neighbors use
the back for hanging washing up etc and where the bins are so any ideas
    regarding small planters

I do not have green fingers and something easy and simple would be good

looking forward to hearing your suggestions

    many blessings

Violet started a thread about an herb garden about a month ago I guess and I wrote in some good suggestions that would work for containers (whatever size). I'll have a look for it i have no garden 348985

    Here it is https://spiritualinspiration.forumotion.net/nature-the-natural-world-f57/herb-garden-t2198.htm

There are lots of things besides herbs that you can grow in containers - nasturtiums and pansies do really well, and you can even grow evergreens in pots. And you don't need to splash out a lot of money on containers either - I use whatever's around (old cookie jar, etc lol I've always got old cookie jars around, it's like a plague). There are so many choices - you might think about hitting your library and getting a container gardening book for your growing zone.

You could also have hanging baskets.
Also there is nothing to stop you growing plants indoors if you have the room, including herbs i have no garden 821538
