help with tarot reading

how would you interpret a positive card when appears in a negative position in a spread?
i know cards are not positive or negative and i know each card have some downsides but some are more positive then others,, like if you get the star or ace of cups, 2 of cups...the world... how is it working against you? stand in your way?
or you read it as positive anyway

Some cards can have a negative aspect to them. Depending on the card that is used. Take the Knight of Pentacles. In the good aspect it is unwavering, determination, steadfast... In the negative aspect it would be stubborn, uncompromising, obsessive.

The star is the card of hope and inspiration, serenity, and generosity... So the negative aspect of that card would be a sense, or feeling of hopelessness, giving up, lack of faith. Feelings of turmoil, and greed, perhaps.

The world is a card of accomplishment, involvment, fulfillment.. It's negative aspect would be a sense of withdrawal, apathy, lack of involvement. Lack of intergration, feeling unfulfilled.

The two of cups is the card of connection, truse, attraction... It's negative aspects would be needing to be alone, solitutde, arguments within a relationship. Staying apart, no peace. Self absorbed, being alone. Broken relationship.

Ace of cups would be emotional force, intuition, intimacy, love. The negative aspect would be unemotional, being distant in relationships, unloving/uncaring, not listening to yourself, listening to outside forces such as friends and family, instead of what you truly want.
