Not believing you're dead?

I'm sure I saw this in a film can't remember now...but what if you crossed so suddenly you don't realise you're actually dead, some people believe ghosts are the spirits of the deceased who don't or won't believe their body is dead, and think that their house still belongs to them, and that is why they disturb new families moving into it, because they still feel it's their home.

I totally believe that. Esp w/young children when they die suddenly they are often lost looking for their parents & their home. Very sad.

Someone once told me that the spirits of children don't travel alone, rather w/an adult. I don't believe that any more esp since I have had several ghost children in my home & they were alone. Tho I also heard that the souls of children go directly to Heaven, there are no ghost children. I don't believe that either.

I think some spirits dont know they are dead.
Some feel they need to stay on earth foor various reasons and do know they are dead.
And children are not always with adults.
I have shown loads the way home who were alone.

I think Mia is totally right when it comes to spirits not knowing that it is.. A popular ghost show in the states shown this, whether it was staged or not..

They spotted and caught a ghost on evp, and when they were leaving you could hear it saying "don't leave me" coz it was in a hospital and she the spirit had been left behind without being moved on..

so yeah I agree, my friend helps them move to the light many a time.. I stay clear.

That makes me wonder some more now... because if we all have a spirit guide/angel surely they would help their charge, mind you if they weren't accepting of such things in life they wouldn't necessarily and automatically be accepting when they crossed over, especially not if they aren't accepting that they've died.

Maybe the spirits that take some time to cross over... really need that time to see something to progress further, that only that situation can show them and the ones helping with the crossing over...well that is their experience-need too.

I dont think its that total physical feeling they do not think they are dead. MORE acceptance that is it ok to move on. I work one's that have met their death at times very suddenly or at the hands of another. They know that something is wrong they get that the body is not there as they can not interact still.....BUT they do not accept that fact is all. It is a place of between the Earht Plane and crossing plane. (Heaven) if on will. Its EARTH BOUND but not psycially bound.

What one's like me do is make sure they know they can cross over and that is ok to do so but too are free to come back to us and tell us what maybe we might help with. Many a time though they want to stay to completion. In this we try to get the informations needed ASAP so they will move on. If one has a sudden death one at times NEEDS to see that death full on. I can re live that moment with them. If one is taken at the hand of another then at times there can be mayve something found or sensed. If one is missing at times they can be found and brought home.

NO one is ever left alone and helpless but they have to WANT the help. I find that part of being human stays with the Spirit.
