A Bowl of Water Empty A Bowl of Water

Post  Violet Wed May 06, 2009 12:49 am

Are you aware that you can use a simple bowl of water for scrying (gazing) in the same way you would use a crystal ball? Some people add coloured dyes to the water too.

A clear glass bowl set on a dark cloth I feel would give the best results but try it on other coloured cloths too.
It can take time and patience to see anything at all and remember to gaze softly rather than stare into the water, and if you need to blink do so, let us know how you get on with this

Maybe I'm speaking out of turn here, but casting a circle is usually done to:

    a. Clear a space for yourself to work in(in more then one sense)
    b. For protection.

There may be several other reassons, but these are the most common...to my knowledge.

I don't physically cast a circle,I find there is no need, the same can be accomplished but what I call bubbeling.(See the post about shielding :D)

Physically casting a circle can be done with chalk, (rock)salt or even lavender, and many other things depending on its purpose...

    Love,

    Hello

Yes. Another very interesting thing to try is using the Sun. Look into the bright Sun for a few seconds then close one's eyes and lay back on the ground and look up to the bright sky. What one see's at times is truly amazing.

Hi Zombie chaser, how are you? I've had more luck with a crystal ball but i've not used water for a while.
