My cat keeps bringing me feathers, I'm very grateful but why does he keep doing it?

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

Re: Gifts from my Cat
Cat's are very good at delivering little presents like that. They might kill a mouse and leave it by the door for you (the pack leader). It is a way of honoring you and showing their subservience to you.
Actually, you're lucky that yours leaves you feathers...mine leaves me hairballs.

I found something revolting in my bedroom recently and thought the worst but it was a hairball, thankfully.
