gifts from guides

So whenever u first start to come in contact with ur guides most guided meditations tell u to ask ur guides for a gift. I did this not to long ago. Thought it was pretty cool. My guides deal with my anxiety and panic disorder a lot. So one day I asked for a gift.  B gave me what looked like a lil marble bit as I looked closer it was a small bright verson of the world...I took that as live as much as u can the world is urs. Then chief game me a feather and a hawk or eagle was around him. I took this as u r free as a bird. Which makes sense cause I never seem to feel free in the life I have now. Anyone else asks for gifts from thier guides?

That is something I have never thought to do or read anything about this custom.

Yes, I was given a key, Joanie many meditations involve asking a guide/helper for a word, a name, a gift, a symbol, just something to bring back from the meditation.

When I meditated and got the feather I found feathers everywhere the next day well throughout the day
