With crystal balls? I've had more success with a small one than the bigger ones, or do you think it's about the ball itself and depends on finding the 'right' ball for you as with decks of tarot?

I don't think size matters, but I would follow whatever calls out to you. About the size- I do think it needs to be big enough for you to at least see, obviously. lol.. =]

No. The images don't come from any tool which is used, they come from the person. They can however help improve a person's clairvoyant faculties, so they do have a purpose or use.

I don't think it is very easy with small crystal balls. I like to use a minimum of a 10 cm one. I do have a very large one of Smoky Quartz and it is very easy to read as the pattern inside is very misty and changes with the light but it is heavy and a pain to transport in case I drop it lol.
What is your ball made of Violet?

Tools serve a purpose as long as we need them. At one point we put them aside and do it without them.
They can help someone to focus that is all.

I have to disagree. You make it sound like people that use tools are lesser? Some of us use them just because we want to, no need about it. Tools just give a different aspect, they can lead us in new directions and rather than limiting they can uplift. I have found that usually those that decry using tools have a lack of knowledge and understanding of them.
Whether it is a tarot reading or a crystal ball reading there is far more to the instrument than just a tool.

Talking about crystal balls,Must admit I don't have much interest in it. I know that they are world wise known for reading the future,do they also bring through spirit?
How do they actually work? Is there something in the depths of the crystal that has the powers to bring these gifts through?

Re: Do you think size matters?
Some crystal balls seem to soak up energies and hold onto memories, I think that the sub-conscious can use them very easily to show messages, especially the clear cut crystal ones. The reader's mind relaxes as it sees the reflections of light and that can produce a soporific effect that allows connection with the higher self

I do believe that we're not actual using these so "called" tools. As Ourself is the only tool we are using.

Re: Do you think size matters?
Well, let's take Tarot for example. Some readers will look at the cards and use the traditional meanings, others that may not have a knowledge of tarot may just look at the pictures and say what comes into their heads? Surely one is using the tarot and giving a tarot reading and one is just using themself and giving a psychic or intuitive reading? But with a crystal ball there is no set or fixed meaning it is all open for interpretation.
