Silverfish and Baby Owls?

Anyone have a clue as to what a silverfish could represent? I've researched them as animal totems, insect totems, dreams.... and came out empty-handed. I can't find anything symbolic about them anywhere.

And when it comes to animal totems, do the meanings differ at all when the animal is just a baby? I know there's a lot of information on Owls as a totem, but I was wondering if a group of BABY Owls carries a slightly different meaning than an adult one.

Thanks in advance for any advice, especially about the silverfish.

I looked for silverfish and you're right there appears to be nothing out there, I think others on here have said babies represent beginnings or ideas.

I was surprised to find nothing at all. All I found was a Silverfish Publishing House in Malaysia.

What do YOU feel about silverfish Kristin? Do you like them, do you consider them to be pests think of how they make you feel.

I can't even remember the last time I saw one before that day, and I think they're kind of gross.

I just got up to pick up my bag to leave work, and there crawling beside my bag was the little despicable creature. They don't terrify me, and there are far worse insects out there, but I do find them to be a little.... icky.

Can I hazard a guess and suggest you watch out for any 'creepiness' especially in the work place if that's where you saw it?

I'm really just around the kids all day, but ya never know. Good idea.

I realize this was quite some time ago, but for anyone else who looks here for an answer about the meaning of silverfish, this is my understanding:
The symbolism of a silverfish is a reminder of health and hygiene. So clean your self and your surroundings.
