A Haunted Bungalow. Empty A Haunted Bungalow.

Post  SpiritVoices Mon Aug 12, 2013 6:37 pm

I am hoping to move whenever I can find housing that suits me.

I have found a wonderful small estate outside of the town where I want to move to.
    it is a bungalow.

Beautiful place with nice large rooms and garden front and back.

My daughter works with a lady whose mother lives on this estate.
Apparently the rumours are that one of the bungalows is haunted.
(hoping I am not offered that one.... )

The haunting is of an old lady who previously lived there.
She is seen at a certain time of the day.

    Opening doors and opening windows!

Now I wonder why she does this?

    Any ideas?

My daughter works with someone whose mother lives there.

Probably some dear old lady who must have passed over.
    Still gives me the shivers....:worry:

Reminds me .... I was born in an old nailers cottage in Worcestershire.  I left home at 20 yrs old, and it was when I went home for weekends that I noticed that at night when everyone was in bed I heard a light tapping sound downstairs, a door downstairs almost close and the lounge light switch turned on/off.  They were very distinctive noises because the door had an old fashioned latch and the light switch was an old bakerlight one that made a distinctive clunk.  I told my Dad about this and he said "oh - that's old Tet Hancock who used to live here when I was a boy.  She used to tap out her clay pipe on the hearth!".  Dad it turned out was well aware of the sounds she made!

I think I must have always heard the sounds but were so used to them it didn't register until after I'd left home.

One day I was in the kitchen and for a second or two saw a tall slim woman dressed in blue, her grey hair was in a bun.  Dad confirmed that I'd seen Tet Hancock!  We never felt spooked by her presence and I wonder what happened to her when the cottage was demolished.  Cassy x

I feel we have pleasant ghosts in our homes.     They do not mean any harm.   They must have been happy in our homes when they lived in there.

I remember living in an old stone built house that my husband and I bought many years ago.
Beautiful old comfy house, atmosphere was beautiful.

One Sat evening,we returned from a night out.
Sitting in front of the fire,my husband said to me....'can you see them?'

    I said 'See what?'
He described two soldiers coming down the stairs.  Dressed in World War 1 uniform.  Old lady standing at the top of the stairs shouting good bye to them.

Ken (hubby) told me the two soldiers were going back off leave.
He said one soldier would not return from the war.
He also got the name Johnson or Johnston.

The next morning we walked to the village and stopped at the memorial in the middle of the village.
There was the name Johnson marked on it.
    Our proof....

Hi Joanie it seems the spirit of this lady is simply going about her everyday business just as she would have done when she was alive, suppose you did get the 'haunted one' I don't believe this lady would cause you any harm but you'll know straight away when you go inside whether or not the place is right for you regardless of whether its haunted or not:hugz:

That was the impression I had,Violet.
I was more curious about the opening and closing of the doors and windows.
