A Simple Topic.

Seeing Spirit. We all hear,we all sense but I have never heard a vivid description of seeing spirit clearly and hearing spirit clearly.

I have heard spirit speak to me on drifting into sleep but either only catch so many words before I drop off.

I have never heard a complete sentence giving me the reason for the conversation.

Like one afternoon,sitting reading,I could feel my eyes closing,not sleep but dozing.....

All I heard was a male voice saying 'Wake up,Joan!'
I woke and heard the voice say 'It is 3 oclock'.
That was it! I have remarked on this somewhere else on the forums. Looked at the clock and it was indeed 3pm.

That was it! What I am still wondering is....why the dickens was I reminded of the time of 3pm in the afternoon....
I give up.

I had a series of dreams where the communicated by "implanting thoughts".............no words.

That is not unusual. it can happen during daylight hours as well.
Spirit will communicate by thoughts sometimes.

Have you ever sat thinking of trying to solve a problem and suddenly a thought will drop into your mind giving you the answer....?

I've heard spirit outside of my head just once... a voice whispered 'Kaere' in my ear, and it even felt like 'Kaere' and not my proper name.

Other than that, spirit gives me impressions of what they want to say, I feel the meaning almost, it's like spirit has put the thought in my head. I think this is why it's so hard at times, because each of our brains is wired differently and each spirit has a different level or ability to communicate. A good connection is hard to find cause there are so many variables that have to match up just so.

I see spirit as well. Back when I was very awake, I would see orbs around me a lot, sometimes spirits would swoop around the room like they were swimming. I see shimmering in the air, like a heat wave coming up off a hot road. And I see sparkling lights and camera flashes, sometimes they come along with a 'fwoomp' sorta sound.

I feel spirit as well, tingling touches and such. I can smell spirit - cigarette smoke and carnations, roses and baby powder... doesn't seem to be anything in particular, just a scent that is out of place so I notice it.

Here is a snippet of an experience of mine, that correlates with your question of "seeing spirit" clearly. This was upon waking from a lucid dream.

"Upon waking I was in a groggy half sleep state, and my eyes are open and above my bed was white fog, that turned into a face, and into a person. They weren't flesh as they were like a dark yellow in color... I don't recall who they were.. It wasn't scary, nor was I frightened of them. Usually said experiences like this startle me. I did have thoughts that the person from the lucid dream was able to follow me back to a waking state.. I'm not sure if was them, but the first thoughts one would have when waking from a dream and then seeing someone in the waking world would be that they returned with you, or found you. I have also had other opportunities of seeing full blown spirit, much in the same manner of me seeing people in the waking. I've seen them through my eyes. The full apparitions are very rare to see. Mostly happen when I am in a groggy half awake half asleep state.. On the regular I will see flashes of light, orbs hovering.. Sparkles of light, tickles on the skin, what feels like rubbing on the skin as if someone brushed me without being there, my hair being tussled. I've been poked by spirit as if they were right there... I probably should allow them to speak when they are there getting my attention..

I don't recall hearing external voices, but do hear it within my head...

I don't see them outside of these lucid dreams,but I see them as they were in life but looking healthier and younger. For instance my grandson who was 35 when he passed over looked about 16 years of age.

Happier than he had ever looked before....he waved and laughed and I knew he was delighted to be well again.
He is now with my husband....

It hasnt happened often for me. Two instances I can recall. One when we lived in our old home and in a childs voice, I heard "mommy". Naturally, I said.. "what"? thinking it was my little one. Nope. She was still outside with her sister.

The other is when my daughters and I were bickering, here at this home. All of a sudden we all hear something being said from the stairway. "shut the H$LL up"! :eek:

At first, we thought it was one another saying it since two of us was in one room and the other in another. Did the trick... lol.

Spirit have a way of being quite forceful.
I woke up one night hearing a voice say to me...'he wants his tongue cutting out!'

I knew what it was referring to......but the way the voice said was very forceful,was quite surprised......

Yes they do, I heard a spirit yell externally,( as in right into my ear,) one word, which I acted upon and I believe it saved my life.

Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.

I have seen spirits many times, but always when you least expect it, it seems. When I am communicating with spirit for divination purposes, I hear spirit and see a movie in my head. Fro-m what I understand, it takes an enormous amount of energy for them to materialize. But times I have seen them, they looked like a flesh and blood person, very radiant and breathtaking!
