'Sensing' another medium?

Do you believe it's possible to sense that someone else is a medium just by being near them, I also heard once that a dark ring around the iris suggests that someone may have mediumistic ability.

I have always wondered if others could sense, ..

My first instinct is to say yes.  Like the idea of an electricity type charge or magnetism perhaps.  

I can't sense a medium.    Except maybe to say that there is a quality about those who have mediumnistic gifts that gives out a sort of mysterious aura.

Does that mean you guys can sense others gifts beign near them? I cant tell what im picking up on half the time.

I can tell if a person has an interest in spiritualism.
They go a little quiet.....

 dont know about the mark round the iris but i can sence when a medium is in the same place as i am.i normally see spirit standing behind them

When I used to visit the spiritualist church,there was a man there who was a regular visitor.
Didn't know him very well at that time.  Only that his name was Pete.

Thought he was just one of the regulars.

Bumped into him one day during shopping and we stopped to talk.
It was the way he kept glancing at me and looking over my shoulder,he could see someone behind me.  I even turned round  and looked behind me.
The quietness of him and the strong sense that came from him made me wonder if he could see spirit.

He described my husband in great detail and said 'he is standing behind you,with his hands on your shoulders'.
Now most times if I meet Peter in the shops,he winks and tells that hubby is around.
