And if you have more than one set, do you find one set is better/easier/nicer to use than the other and if so why?

Re: What are your runes made of?
I've had a small branch of a mountain ash tucked away for quite some time now for this purpose, I will get round to it sometime.......

Clay. I broke one some time ago and replaced it with a pebble.
If I'm ever on another pebble beach I'll collect enough to paint my own personal home-made set.

Back in 2000 I made a set out of clay. I keep them in a jar filled with sand from White Sands, NM because I love the energy there. Making them is an awesome release/focus/meditation.

I feel like this when I make things, pebbles make good runes as they're quite tough.

Re: What are your runes made of?
Mine are ceramic but I think runes made from a branch and then burned with the symbol would be particularly potent. I might give this a try this autumn
