Picking up from Conscious Memories.

I found an interesting piece of information on the internet the other day.

Concerning spirit giving messages to mediums and mediums passing those messages on to sitters.

It brought in the thought which made me think about those messages.
It suggested that spirit quite innocently could be picking up on the memories from the sitter's consciousness.   This passing those memories to the medium.
 
Is it possible that this can happen more often through Trance mediumship?

In trance mediumship the guide has to control the medium's subconscious mind.

Does that make sense?

I can understand what you mean Joan, but to be quite honest I wouldn't have thought spirit needed to do this.  Just my opinion.

It was only suggested that spirit may be able to do that,Maureen.    No proof what so ever.

I would say i can confirm that,because in messages I have  received in the past,were of incidents I haven't known about.   
Had to check with relatives to verify.

An experienced, competent medium will know to avoid inadvertent psychic reading; a less-experienced one may not. 

A fraudulent practitioner may have a different agenda to what we'd hope....

I'm using this topic for another reason but feel it fits into my post.

The 'dream'  I had yesterday afternoon.

The title of this topic.

'Picking up from conscious memories'

Because the 'dream' was so life like,like an episode in life,was I picking up memories from my life with my husband?

The way he looked,what he wore and the dog we had in life.
Ok,the dream was slightly different in the way of the atmosphere of the dream.

I never accept anything that is a little strange to me and I cannot fathom why this dream was so different from others.

Was I taken to the spirit world?    Was it my imagination working overtime?

I could be wrong Joan but I'm getting a really strong feeling that Ken and your lovely little doggie were with you when you were having that dream.  I would say that they wanted to remind you they are looking after you and this was their way of doing it.

They were very close,Maureen where ever they were.    Never had such a 'living' dream in my life before.

What got me was how young Ken looked in the dream.   I would say about 40's.

Pippin looked like a young puppy......
