Surrounding yourself with light

If you use this method of protection, what color light do you use ? White seems to be  a popular choice, why ?

White is widely considered to be a very high spiritual colour, it can also represent purity, holiness (think of the white haloes on religious images,) all that said you should use whatever colour feels right for you personally, perhaps even no colour at all, some people use blue as this is considered to be a healing colour.

Good reasons for using the white light Violet. I have heard of some using a color for healing, but I always thought green was the healing color associated with Archangel Raphael ?

just wondering out loud.... I wonder if there is a different feeling, if one uses a color instead of white ? I suppose I could try it and see

I've used various colors, and have not felt a noticeable difference within the color itself. As one color being better than the other, or even feeling any different.

I use white light bubble, and will wrap the light with gold mesh around it.. Which works for me.. I have also used white mirrors to reflect energy back out into the universe if I feel I am being drained. I have felt that one work tremendously.

I suppose there really wouldn't be a difference in feeling different colors of light.

I just make a connection to my divine self and ask for protection from anything that is not of unconditional love.

Just need your intentions of what you wish you accomplish with it..

Technically, You can choose any colour, as long as you feel you're protected.

But, in my practices I use gold and white.
