It can take quite a bit of practice but is worth it imo. I can only speak on others experiences on going lucid (becoming aware that they're dreaming while they're in the dream - not after the fact) as I've only been lucid a handful of brief times.

It seems to centre around training yourself to respond to a trigger... an image of feeling. Then once you're lucid you need to find a way to be able to remain lucid... a friend of mine has to keep physical contact with another dream character, hand on shoulder kind of thing.

Not much help here but maybe a starting point for researching, practicing...

Well for me, I try to look at my alarm clock and see if I can see it clearly and see the time on it. If I can I am awake, if not, I am still dreaming. Has worked 100% of the time for me.

Lucid dream and Ordinary dream?     Two different types.
Lucid dreams can be classed as OBE's.    Out of body experiences.

We leave the body to travel....OBE's.

Ordinary dreams can be through the stress of the day.    Mixed up and don't make sense....let's see if I can find something on the net...
    which might explain them.
