Post  Violet Mon Nov 09, 2009 1:04 am

I believe all pets cross over and meet us on the other side, but what about wild animals, birds insects etc?
Do you think the afterlife is a world similar to this where the wild animals go a spiritual wild, the birds go to spiritual trees and so on?
Do pets ever choose to have a life of freedom in spirit?

We would have to get into a debate over whether animals have souls, and if those souls traveled to a spirit world. Some are of the feeling that people are animals at some point in their journeys. I'm not much of an advocate of that belief.

Animals, pets, could also be a representation of the animals that you encountered, and not exactly the same thing.

It could also be argued that animals are energy, and energy can not be destroyed. It's only reused. So it's possible then that the energy signatures do still exist, and go to spirit. Whether it's the same spirit world as ours, or another one is hard to tell.

This is one of my biggest bugbears these days, that some think animals don't have souls, or feelings, they are just 'things' to use and abuse by so many Where do the animals go? 314713

If there is reincarnation wouldn't it make sense that we would live one lifetime as an animal, and learn all the lessons that it would bring?
With domestic animals especially it woould give us great insight into human behaviour wouldn't it Where do the animals go? 809779 People confide in their pets and be their true selves when it is just them and their pet. I firmly believe too that there is just one spirit world with several 'realms'

I'm not saying that animals don't feel pain, or abuse, they are great at intuition, empathy, healing, etc.

I just don't feel that we would learn anything as an animal, as most are just savages.

Though, I could be wrong. Manny have claimed they lived past lives as animals, trees, rocks.

Oh yeah innerlight I know you know that as do most people, I was speaking more generally, sorry I should have made that clear.
Interesting difference of opinion between us about whether or not we would benefit fro living as an animal, I wonder what the others think.

Yeah people claim to have been all sorts of things in a past life, but many believe everything is living and has it's own energy.

    Hi Violet,

The Dog in question isnt significant with me persoanly, but i attended a reading on Weds last, the house was littered with Rossettes for Dog shows, and all her 5 Dogs were cross border Collies, do you think that could be it?

I think it would be a good exefcise to take the time to speak to a tre, a rock, an animal, an insect....and see what they have to say on the subject.

    Hello

Well this be what me Son told me when he as 3 year's old. He told me that pets that are well loved go over to be there for ye when ye go over. The rest of the animals ( as man is so mean to them) have their own special place they go to. Free from man and free to roam.

I have to think that be a wonderful thought. I know that he told me about the Family pets I had and the one me Dad had as a boy when me Dad came to visit him. That was three dogs and one cat.

In readings I have had pets come in last one was a room full of free Buddgies. Seems they had a cage but were free to fly the house.
