It's sad for us that she's no longer here the way she used to be but wonderful for her because she'll be back with her Ken. Released at last from a world she could no longer be part of.

Joan was a good poster on here but like mac said the last few years Joan could no longer interact anymore.I know she had fond memories of being here. she was a friend.
but now she can be reunited with her Beloved Ken.

I believe when the body descends the spirit ascends to freedom for this reason I am happy for Joan.
Those who remain to love the memory of her life, I hope we find comfort in being able to share time with her on earth.

In terms of Joanie there was plenty of missing her and sadness over the dementia that blighted her final years.
But there were likely few tears from those of us who had known her as a friend all the years she was a member here. (also as a member on websites elsewhere) We knew she would be overjoyed to be back with her beloved husband, the partner she had missed so much for so many years; it was because of his death Joan came looking for support but then stayed to become knowledgeable about survival et al.
It was, though, a shock and a sadness that her daughter passed the way she did.
