    First topic message reminder :

Perseverance is key when attempting to find your guides, though it doesn't matter whether we actually see them or not as they are always with you and communicating with you, though not necessarily in the way you expect.

Meditation is good but you have to be dedicated, if your meds are hit and miss and just when you 'feel like it' you're not imo likely to acheive much, if you can't be bothered then why should they make the effort?

By committing yourself to one good meditation a week (at the same time each week wherever possible) you are in effect creating a series of appointments with your guides if you don't show up then why should they?

Meditating daily can become a chore, once a week won't, choose quality over quantity every time.

Also experiment with different music, insence, rooms, positions, lighting etc one very slight change can be all it needs to connect and is exactly how I found mine.

Hello all. Viking, so not fret, I too have difficulty with meditation and visualization. I have recently joined a 21 day guided meditation on abundance and have never felt better about them. I find my mind chatter quiets when I give myself something to listen to, and I am able to attain a deeper level with my meditations. Also there are some very good betta and gamma wave CDs out there that can help send you deeper, I find these help.
Most importantly, from reading your posts, I think you must be reminded of three things:
    You are loved
    You are never alone
You can make no wrong decisions
With that said, please find peace to let go of your judgments, so long as you continue to tell yourself you are doing this wrong, you will sadly in my personal belief, never attain what it is you are seeking. This, I know, can be difficult for some people, as we tend to be our worst critics. Just remember to let go of the preconceived notions and let your guides communicate to you. I am in no means any better though, I am just starting this process, but I do feel in my highest being, that letting go of the self judgement is crucial. That at least is my personal lesson to be learned right now.
Sorry if I seemed to ramble... hahha see, self judging Tips on Finding your Guide - Page 3 825910

I understand there is an internet test. Answer some questions and it determines one's spirit animal. A quick fix perhaps ?

Of course there are some of us who feel this is utter nonsense.

I find that guided meditation helps as well. I can tune things out easier and most time before I know it, I am in deep and not even hearing the guided meditation. Besides there are many great guided meditations out there for many different purposes. Healing, relaxation, astral travel, kundilini awakening, stress relief. There are many out there for self positive growth and betterment. But like Wisa' ka said some like these type of things and some don't. We all have to find our own way and what works the best for us.

As miller may know, mediation is the best place to contacting your spirit guide and getting to know it better. and if it wants to give you messages you must be open to recieve them.

    Be patient and very attentive.
When they appear, you will just know and not have to second guess yourself.
