I have read on this forum that spirit guides are only around us when we need them, and then I have also read that spirit guides are always with us. Which is it? Inquiring minds would like to know please.

Thank you violet. I am learning to trust my intuitive self, my inner instinct and to listen to it. I have always felt as if my spirt guide has been with me, right behind me by my left shoulder. I have even seen her twice in a dream when i was making some very poor choices in life. She looks similar to me but different, and she has long black hair down to the middle of her back. It is too bad that at the times that I saw her that I was intuned enough with my spirituality to listen. lol Now I am ready though. excited because today I go to take a class on how to get in touch with your spirt guide. I am ready to open and receive. Wish me luck!
